- Questions and requests for additional information must be submitted in written form by email to rebecca-mitchell@cherokee.org. No telephone inquires please. Responses to the RFP will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on February 8, 2021. Please submit six copies of the proposal. Proposals must be sealed and designated as a proposal for “RFP - Health Plan - DO NOT OPEN”. Proposals may be mailed to the attention of Rebecca Mitchell, Cherokee Nation, P.O. Box 948, Tahlequah, OK 74465, or may be hand delivered to Ms. Mitchell at the Cherokee Nation Financial Resource Building, located at 17665 S. Muskogee Avenue, Tahlequah, Oklahoma, 74464, which is approximately 3.5 miles South of Tahlequah on Highway 62. Any proposal received after the time stated above will not be considered. Indian Preference applies to all Cherokee Nation requests for bids or proposals. To receive preference, bidder must be TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office; proof of certification must accompany submittals. Successful bidder will be obligated to comply with Tribal rules and regulations and TERO.
