Proposals are being solicited by Cherokee Nation Businesses, L.L.C. or the Cherokee Nation Businesses, L.L.C. wholly-owned entity as identified in the Statement of Work, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit “A” for the North Warehouse Truck Lane Paving. Contact the Buyer, Amy Eubanks, via e-mail only, to answer any questions regarding the bid. Please DO NOT reach out direct to the Project Manager. Mandatory Prebid will be conducted on October 26th, 2021 at 10am. Due to the on-going issues with COVID-19 all bid package documents shall be filled out and e-mailed to Cherokee Nation Businesses at the following address: HRNWare.wr91m2imohiqxq7k@u.box.com to be received no later than 5:00PM CST on November 4th, 2021. SCOPE OF WORK CNE is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to complete the work herein. The N. Warehouse Access Paving project is located on the north side of the Hard Rock complex. The work of the project will allow larger trucks to better access the north warehouse and loading dock. The work of the project is outside of land held in trust by the U.S. federal government. As such, the project is subject to normal taxation and is not tax exempt. Taxes will be accounted for and included in all proposals. Contractor will be responsible for the work as identified in the drawing noted as Exhibit A. Generally speaking, the bidder is responsible for the following: 1. Verify all dimensions and quantities prior to bidding. This project is “turn-key”. 2. Sawcut the area represented by the new concrete extents. 3. Demo and legally dispose of all asphalt, concrete curb, non-conforming aggregate base, landscape materials, etc. in areas to receive new concrete. 4. Furnish, install, and compact to a minimum 98% a minimum of 5” ODOT road base under all pavement areas as follows: a. Remove existing base under present drive areas as necessary to achieve thickness of new concrete. (i.e. reuse existing base) b. Remove base under presently configured parking spaces and replace with new aggregate base as noted. c. Remove topsoil and subgrade from all landscape areas to be paved and replace with 10” of ODOT road base compacted to 98%. 5. Furnish and install new 7” concrete drive lane. Concrete shall be 4,000 psi with #4 rebar placed 18” on center. All rebar shall be grade 60. 6. Any fencing/gate removal or fencing terminations shall be by Owner. 7. For the purposes of bidding, furnish and install joint sealants as follows: a. Include a $5.00/LF allowance in base bid to seal joints between concrete and asphalt. b. All concrete to concrete joints will be sealed with Sonneborn NP1 or approved equivalent. 8. An additive alternate price shall be provided to remove base under existing drive area to be replaced and install 5” of ODOT road base compacted to 98%.
