The Nation is requesting sealed proposals from interested, qualified companies to design and build a storm safe shelter to be located in the Tahlequah, Cherokee County, Oklahoma. The complete address, scope of work and specifications are provided in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

PROPOSAL'S MUST BE RECEIVED BY 5:00 P.M. MARCH 24, 2023. ANY PROPOSAL'S RECEIVED AFTER THE DESIGNATED DATE & TIME WILL BE INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. **MANDATORY SITE VISIT ON MARCH 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. THE MANDATORY SITE VISIT MUST BE ATTENDED FOR ADDITIONAL VISIT TO BE DONE. ** Indian Preference applies to all Cherokee Nation requests for bids or proposals. To receive preference, bidder must be TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office; proof of certification must accompany submittals. Successful bidder will be obligated to comply with Tribal rules and regulations and TERO.
