- The Cherokee Nation is seeking sealed proposals from Indian & non-Indian owned companies to provide advisory assistance and specification development for a public alert & warning system. To receive Indian preference, TERO certification required.

- The Nation is requesting sealed proposals from interested, qualified companies to provide advisory assistance to determine the areas in the reservation that are lacking safety notifications and develop the specifications for a public alert and warning system. Interested parties are to provide a sealed proposal for the entire project. The RFP packet contains all specifications, scope of work and all necessary instructions. Proposals will be accepted from Indian and Non-Indian offerors. Indian preference will be given only to responding parties who provide proof of current certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employments Office (TERO) located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, telephone number (918) 453-5000. Proof of TERO certification must accompany and be included in sealed proposal submittal. Detailed announcement and deadline information are available at www.cherokeebids.org. The Emergency Management Group wants to strengthen public safety and whole-community preparedness by deploying alert coverage throughout the reservation. Complete information regarding the scope of work and specifications is provided in this Request for Proposal (RFP). The service timeframe will extend from date of award with an ending date based on sealed proposal timeline information.
