Date Bid Notice Issued: November 1, 2018, Contract/Project No.: CN-A921-11, Project Name: Ross Street, County: Cherokee County, Project Limits: Lat. N 35°54’29 ” and Long. W 94°57’26”, Name of Road or Highway: Ross Street. The Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for Ross Street Project, Project No CN-A921-11. Located in Cherokee County, this project is 0.82 miles in length. The project includes the construction of 0.73 miles of 40’ wide dowel jointed concrete roadway with concrete curb and gutter and concrete sidewalk, a 28’ wide asphalt pavement with curb and gutter, and a 28’ wide asphalt pavement. New drainage structures including storm sewer. New traffic loops and modifications to traffic signals with Pedestrian Crossing and Traffic Lighting. Project will be a Fixed Completion Date Contract with completion date of: September 30, 2019 (See Part 2, Specifications, subsections 108.02, “Notice to Proceed and Preconstruction Conference” and 108.07., “Administration and Extension of Contract Time” and 108.07 Special Provisions for Incentive/Disincentive). A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on November 8, 2018 in the CNDOT building at Cherokee Nation headquarters, located approximately 3.5 miles south of Tahlequah, Oklahoma on Highway 62. A location map is included on the Cherokee Nation website at www.cherokeebids.org. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders who do NOT have a representative attending the pre-bid conference. The Bidder must not make telephone or other oral inquiries concerning this Bid Notice or the Bid Proposal. All correspondence and questions regarding this Bid Notice and requests for additional information must be directed in writing to cnroads@cherokee.org , no later than 5:00 p.m., November 21, 2018. Responses to questions and any bid document updates and/or addendums will be posted on or before November 28, 2018 at 5:00 p.m., under Cherokee Nation procurements on the Cherokee Nation bid website at www.cherokeebids.org . Failure of the Bidder to receive responses to questions shall not relieve the Bidder from any obligation under a bid as submitted. SUBMISSION OF BIDS: Bidders must print and complete Part 1 of the Bid Proposal Forms (See Instructions, p. 1 of this Part, Bid Proposal Checklist, p. 2-5 of this Part.). The original sealed Bid shall be submitted in an envelope showing the Bidder’s name and address, the project number, and the date and time Bids are due, and the notation “Bid Notice – Do Not Open”.
