The Cherokee Nation is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide and install a roadway and parking lot for the Hulbert Community Center (directly behind Hulbert Post Office), Hulbert, Oklahoma. ADDENDUM #1 ATTACHED 02/14/19.

THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2019 AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE FINANCIAL RESOURCES LARGE CONFERENCE ROOM (DIRECTLY BEHIND THE MAIN COMPLEX), 17665 S. MUSKOGEE, TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA. SITE VISITS WILL BE CONDUCTED AFTER THE MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING. Indian Preference applies to all Cherokee Nation requests for bids or proposals. To receive preference, bidder must be TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office; proof of certification must accompany submittals. Successful bidder will be obligated to comply with Tribal rules and regulations and TERO. ADDENDUM #1 ATTACHED 02/14/19 It is the standard practice of the Purchasing Department and the funding department to review and calculate each bid submission after having been unsealed as a means of checking for calculation errors. When a review yields an error in the bid calculation Cherokee Nation policy prohibits the Purchasing Department from taking advantage of a bidder’s errors. Inasmuch, after careful review and correcting the calculations in question it has been determined that H&G Paving is the low bidder for this project. The highlighted areas reflect the correct calculation.
